Ran east nearly 60 miles today looking to put these guys on some fish. Spent the first half of the day going ball to ball putting 27 mahi in the box all on light tackle. Joey sets the trolling spread and we almost immediately get a big bite on our shotgun line in the middle of a turn. I push the Cummins up hard but just can’t take the slack out of the line and the fish throws the hook, suspect a wahoo or a white marlin. Two passes later and our mid rigger bait (mono) gets clipped clean off by a wahoo. The next two hours sees us going one or two on white marlin.
