Some days NOAA gets the forecast correct……today they didn’t! After 25 miles I decided to turn the boat and make a sixty minute ride to the hotdog, large shoal 40 miles offshore. The wind and waves were gnarly but the throwback bluefin were plentiful. Worked at Hill until we retired of dealing with the small fish only finding one legal size bluefin for the box. Work some other large shoals in the area but all we had were undersized bluefin.
