Out with a crew from PA who come bearing gifts. Some of the best sweet bologna I’ve ever had from a little butcher shop just outside Lampeter, PA. First part of the day is dead but sometime around 9:30 I start hearing of a few bites. Shortly after we get our first encounter of the day, and double that sees one yellowfin going in the box. Next bite comes shortly after and we add another yellowfin to the box. The next hour is uneventful except for the wind which has arrived much earlier than forecast. In pretty sporty seas we get a double and both make it to the box. The last hour produces two mahi. Joined the other boats running home a little early due to extremely rough and building seas.
