Out for the yearly trip with Eric and the guys but they were one man shy thanks to a little too much arm bending the night before. Our first encounter takes about an hour. One of our flat lines gets crushed by white marlin and after a 15 minute flight we have the fish next to the boat for pictures. I turn north towards the Baltimore canyon in absolutely hateful head sea. About 3 miles south of the tip I mark some bait so I swing around make a second pass and five lines go down. Four stay tight and as we’re fighting those four we get a drifter bite. In the chaos and rough seas we manage to put four out of the five yellowfins in the box. Continue to work that area for the remainder of the day in terrible conditions but no other bites.
