Back in the saddle again after six days of constant wind and huge seas. I make a 50 mile run with a couple from southeast PA looking for some tilefish. What I thought would be a easy home run turned out to be anything but. After three hours and nearly a dozen different drops we only have 8 in the box. All quality fish but that number should have only taken 30 minutes at the most. We decide to throw out a trolling spread and see what happens. About an hour later we happen upon a free floating orange poly ball loaded with mahi. We fill the box with their limit and call it a day.
