Pointed the boat northeast this morning heading for a new area based on a report that had the entire fleet guessing exactly where the fish were caught at. After a 45 mile run Joeys sets the spread and we begin the search. After 30 minutes of not seeing anything promising I make a 8 mile run south. The next several hours are almost perfect for this crew, single bites about every 30ish minutes and only one bite that didn’t come tight. Well actually three since the same fat yellowfin missed three different baits all within 30 seconds. The bites stop sometime around noon so we spend the final two hours of the day looking in vain. Back in the slip with 5 yf in the box.
