Out with the crew from Snyder’s Plumbing Inc from Lancaster County PA for a day of tuna hunting. First hour or two are fruitless but as we paddle south toward the Washington Canyon we have our first bites and the boys find out why tuna are so respected among anglers. After a hard fight we put the first yellowfin in the box. Shortly after that a white marlin pops up in the spread and is dogging Joeys bait but just will not eat it. Suddenly at the other mid rigger bait gets crushed while Joey is still trying the entice the white to eat. Turns out to be yf and he joins his brother in the box. Our next excitement is in the form of jaws when a 200# mako skies out of the water and crushes our meat bait immediately cutting everything off. Our final bite comes with 10 minutes left in the day when my two bridge rods take off ate the same time. One stays tight and we add another fat yf to the box.
