Two day of crazy wind and long rides in  very very sporty seas. Saturday’s trip begins in super calm water and hungry tuna. Several bites and a couple in the box before 9 am, then the wind hits and instead of NNE it’s NNW…..VERY VERY BAD! At 9:45 I tell the guys we need to leave before things get dangerous. Sunday’s trip starts with more wind than the day before but fishable and it’s supposed to turn out of the east which will give a nice ride home. Worked all day in pretty sport conditions to end up with three in the box, two broke off and a couple bites that didn’t come tight. And for that east wind, didn’t happen, stayed NNE making for an 40 minute longer ride home.
