Headed to the deep in some fairly sporty seas with four guys from PA. Ran to the 100 fathom line before Dave throws out the spread. First two hours produce nothing. Finally we get a mahi bite but the fish manages to throw the hook just feet from the boat. Ran east with high hopes since the tuna chewed the bottom off boats yesterday. After the first few hours it was apparent today that ain’t gonna happen.
