Made a run south today with a crew of NYC’s finest firefighters in hopes of some mahi action. Searched briefly before finding the weeds that were holding fish yesterday. The next several hours was mahi fishing paradise both trolling and light tackle. After their fill of mahi we stopped on a floating bucket and added a few triggerfish to the box. With all the fish they need I’m told to head for the barn. In the slip nearly two hours early with about 25 mahi in the box and a couple triggers too.
