Broke the inlet today with a crew from PA headed 55 miles south. Spent the first two hours in some crazy weeds allowing us to put a couple mahi in the box. pointed the boat west thinking we might find some fish in 40 fathoms. Along the way a white marlin pops up behind our short rigger and then disappears. Fifteen seconds later he shows up behind my long rigger. From there he moves over to our shotgun rod and finally takes the bait. A few minutes later Larry has his first marlin next to the boat for a release. Ended the day in more crazy weeds adding a few more mahi to the box.
