Today we’ve got “sinker man” Glen and his kids on board for what we hope is another day of great tuna action. Listening to the radio chatter from some boats who left crazy early the action seem a much slower. Our first wham-o takes comes around 9:00 when several rods go down at once. The crew finds out that even small yellowfin pull harder than most would ever expect. All the fish are undersize and get thrown back. Next hit takes another 20 minutes and we put two blt (barely legal tuna) in the box. The rest of the day sees a few more bites, some come tight, some miss the hook. At the days end we have 5 in the box.
