Decisions, decisions any yet more decisions. That’s how the morning began for this crew hoping for tuna but ultimately deciding on a sure thing and shorter boat ride. After 33 miles we arrive at the wreck and start picking away at the sea bass. Twenty minutes later, and several keepers in the box, the “allure of tuna” is too much for two of the guys and the discussion starts. After some back and forth and a wise warning from the Sr member of the party about maybe not getting another bite all day, the decision is made to make the 30 mile run to the deep knowing full well our lack of ice and ballyhoo for tuna. Looked all around trying to find some decent water temp but at the days end we only had added one mahi to the box and now had a 69 mile run home.
