Today’s trip begins with some nasty seas and stiff north winds. Asked the folks if they like to turn around…nope, we’re good, lets go catch a big bluefin, was their response. First hour was without a bite but sometime around 8:00 we have a bluefin trying to eat our bar. Finally he explodes on it and after a great fight we have a 80 lb. “over” in the box. Worked the area for a while longer when our deep rod get slammed. Another great fight and we have a similar size fish next to the boat. Started working some other hills trying to fine the elusive “unders” but never did.
