Decided to try the deep drop trip again today with a father and son crew from Baltimore. Unlike yesterday the ride was doable in slightly sporty conditions. It took a couple drifts for the guys to get the hang of hooking these fish but after they did the numbers added up quickly. By 11 am they had put their limit, plus my limit, which they caught, in the box. Set out a trolling spread for about 90 minutes but no takers. Back in the slip with 24 tilefish and 15 jumbo sea bass in the box.
