Headed for some gear that I thought might holding some fish with a family from southern PA. The next two hours are absolutely outstanding. It seemed every other set was holding a couple big fish pushing our light tackle to its limits. By 9:00 the family tells me they’ve got more than enough fish and we can head back in. TD throws out a quick marlin spread and we decide to give it 30 minutes before rolling home. About 10 minutes later a white marlin pops up behind the long rigger. I throw the boat in to a slow turn as Trevor hooks the fish. After a great fight and several spectacular jumps we have Wes’s first marlin at the boat for pictures.
