Out with a crew of boys (at heart) from PA for a day of fun. These guys didn’t have any preconceived notions about wanting a specific species they just wanted to have fun and bend a rod. Started out the day working the “woods” for turkeys hoping we might find a yellowfin or mahi mixed in. Never found a yellowfin but we were able to put a nice gaffer mahi in the box along with some turkeys for the smoker. Sometime around noon the guys decide to try their hand at sea bass. After a 9 mile run we send down the squid. Spend the next two hours messing with throwback and some keepers too.
