After several days of wind and rough seas we're back on the water with a very nice crew looking for tuna. Pulled the throttles back in 80 fathoms and within 30 minutes three rods get hammered. One fish pulls off after about 30 seconds but the other two make it in the box. The next bite takes a couple hours. I mark the fish about 30' down and throw the boat into a hard turn. Out with a crew of guys from MD in search of tuna. About a hour into the day we get hit with a pair of yellowfins. The first fish makes it in the box but the second angler is having issues and after accidently knocking the reel in freespool several times the slack line finally allowed the fish to shake the hook. Spent the rest of the day chasing tuna on the surface that just would not bite...
