Made a big run east in semi sporty conditions with a crew of great guys from Hanover PA looking for some tuna for their freezer. With high hopes Joey puts out the spread after our 65 mile run. The next seven hours produce nothing, zilch, zero! Several times during the day after looking at my fish finder I’d have though every rod in the spread should have gone down. Tuna marks all over the screen but these crazy fish are not biting. Of little consolation is the fact that nearly every boat in the fleet is experiencing the same thing, no bites. Hated this for my crew. Glad I can check this off my list of thing I don’t need to do again the rest of the season.
