Ran 20 mile south today with two guys from southern York County, PA. After 45 minutes of trolling and no bites we decide to try for some sea bass. The action is hot with a good number of keepers going in the box. During one of the drifts a school of very small mahi show up under our dangler so we grab the spinners and put a 5 or 6 in the box. A couple drifts later the same thing happens and we add 3 or 4 more to the box. Decide to try for a flounder or two before we start trolling again. The first drift sees Chad put a nice 22″ flounder in the box. Throw out a trolling spread and manage to add one more mahi to the box before time runs out. Back in the slip with 28 sea bass, 1 flounder and 9 small mahi in the box.
