Out with a crew of local pastors from the greater Salisbury area. At the 30 mile mark things are getting kinda sporty and the guys decide they’d like to hang in the 20 to 30 mile range so I pull her back and Dave put out the spread. Our first bite takes about 30 minutes and after a good fight we put a 35 lb. wahoo in the box. We continue to work the area for the next couple hours getting jumped by false albacore here and there. With three hours left in the day we make an 8 mile run to the sea bass grounds. After needing to release about the first 30 fish we suddenly find some keepers. While we’re pounding the sea bass a mahi swims up and falls victim to our jig. Back in the slip early with 1 wahoo, 1 mahi and 24 sea bass in the box.
