Spent today with a crew of guys from southeastern PA looking for some meat. Decided to run to some deep gear in hopes of finding a couple mahi and this set of gear didn’t disappoint us. We spend most of the morning going ball to ball with both trolling tackle as well as light tackle. By the time we reach the end of the string we have around 15 in the box with the largest being a beautiful 25 lb. bull. The next two hours are dead so I make a 12 mile run to a hill that I’m hoping might just have a wahoo hiding there. Well instead of finding a wahoo we find the mother load of turkeys. Ended the day with the guys having a ball doing battle with these hard charging tunas.
