Back to the same area we fished yesterday with a father & son team from MD. Action starts about 30 minutes into the day when a white marlin pops up behind our long rigger but will not come any closer for our circle hook rig. Next bite takes about 30 minutes when a big wahoo grabs our shotgun bait and heads the other direction at 100 mph. Unfortunately the #9 wire breaks and the fish swims off with my Islander. Our next bite comes sometime mid morning when white shows up behind our short rigger. The fish turns and eats our flat line and after some great jumps is released next boat side. About two hours later I notice a shadow following mid rigger bait. As Dave pulls the rod from the holder the wahoo crushes the bait and a few minutes later we put the 45# fish on the box. Our day ends when another marlin hangs himself on a spreader bar and after a brief show is released next to the boat.
