Out with the crew from Baytown Painting for a day of tilefish action. Somewhere around the 9 mile mark Dave pops up on the bridge and tells me the guys would REALLY like to look for flounder and sea bass instead so I make a hard turn and point the boat northeast. The morning bite was ok but around 9 am the drift absolutely die and so did our bites. Fortunately the drift picked up again during the last hour allowing the guys to add a few ore fish to the box. Sent the guys home with 8 flounder and about 18 sea bass and a couple bluefish.
