Ran east today with a crew that made a 7 hour drive for a day of offshore action. Our plan, put some fish in the box and get back to safe harbor before the NW wind machine gets cranking. First bite takes less than 10 minutes and a couple mahi go in the box. Next several hours produce a couple more mahi (one 25#) and several hard pulling fat alberts. Beat the wind most of the way home but with 11 miles left to go we get slapped in the face by 30 knot NW winds.
