Yesterday it seemed we cleared the inlet with every boat in the state of MD. Today I’m fairly certain it was every boat on the east coast. Ran 50 miles and set out our spread. Hours pass and nothing…..except lots of boats zigzagging everywhere. With a tilefish hole nearby we decide to drop. Couple drifts, a couple fish. Guys decide to leave the tiles and keep looking for something big. We never find a tuna but the last two hours yields two gaffer mahi and two others that miss the hook.
