Threw the lines today with a lot of trepidation for today’s Black Sea Bass trip since the fish are spawning and the reports I’ve been hearing for some of my buddies were horrible. After the first 90 minutes I’m thinking I should have just stayed in bed this morning but after several moves and a crew that seems to have found the trick to getting these tight lipped fish to bite we star putting together a decent catch. By days end we are only 20 fish shy of our limit something I would NEVER have believed earlier in the day. Back in the slip with 70 in the box to 22 inches.
