With much trepidation I head toward the chunking hill with Tigger and his crew just looking for a couple bites. Decided to stay away from the fleet and drift over a little hill that’s been very good to us this year. Twenty minutes into the first drift Dave’s bait takes off and we have our first yellowfin on. Five minutes into the fight my rod on the bow goes off and we’ve got two on. The fish get together and the first fish pulls the hook but five minutes later we have the second fish in the box. The next couple hours provide several other bites most of which we capitalize on and by early afternoon we have four yellowfin in the box. A much better catch than I’d expected.
