Another day of outstanding bluefin action with a mostly local crew of guys. The morning bite was nonexistent but sometime around 10 these hard pulling buggers got hungry.  Action was fairly steady on a mix of unders, overs, yellowfin and mahi. We did seem to have one black cat on board. Everytime Ayrik touched the rod something bad seemed to happen the worst of which was a 20 minute exhausting battle that ended less than 50 feet from the boat when the hook pulled.
