Today was to be a 10 hour shark trip but after telling the guys about yesterdays tuna trip they quickly changed their minds so we set out on a 10 hour tuna trip. On the ride out I was listening to the other boats who have already been fishing for a while and it sound terrible slow. Now I’m thinking what did I do and what if these crazy fish don’t bite today. I set up a few miles away from the chunkers and set the trolling spread. The next few hours provide steady action and while it seems the bite is slow everywhere else the fish on this little hill seemed willing to play with the Fin Chaser crew. Back in early with all the fish this crew wanted to harvest 3 bluefins, 1 yellowfin and a mahi.
