Spent today with a super nice crew of guys from western PA who made quite a drive for our fishing. Spent the morning dragging baits all over the 461 bump before picking up lines and making a 20 mile run north to some gear that was still holding fish two days ago. My hopes are quickly dashed when I notice the gear has been moved, according to my plotters track line, from the previous trip. Managed to scratch out a few smaller mahi and one gaffer before ending the day. Told the guys I really hope tonight’s buffet at the Bon Fire makes the drive worth while because I know the fishing didn’t….sorry.
