Made a big run to the deep with the girls for the 2016 Poor Girls Open looking for marlin. First encounter comes mid morning when a white marlin pops up behind the mid rigger. Dave quickly feeds the bait then hands off the reels to our lucky lady. After a great fight we have the fish next to the boat for the release. Our next encounter has a small white tracking our baits but will not take any before he fades away. Thirty minutes later, out of no where, a white suddenly grabs our teaser, yanks on it for a couple seconds then swims away never to show again. Ended the day by puling several mahi off a floating bucket we trolled past.
