Made a short 8 mile run with a crew of teenagers looking for a little fun. Spent the first part of the day hammering the taylor bluefish. After that we decide to push off and try some drifting for sea bass. The bite was very good and the size was typical for mid summer. By the end of the day we managed 16 keeper sea bass among the 200+ throwbacks. The highlight of the day; charter didn’t want their fish so the Stauffer and Weller families will have some great eats tonight.
