Ran 62 miles south with a few other boats looking for the pack of fish that were hammered on the previous afternoon. First three hours was slow with only three bites and seeing two yf go in the box. Sometime around 10:30 my dock neighbor calls me and tells me about a crazy bite 10 miles north of our fleet that was apparently over. Trolled that way and within half a mile those numbers we add a 3rd yf to the box. Work that area for about another 2 hours missing a couple and adding one more to the box. The day ended in heartbreak after a tuna crashes our short bar and the brand new rigger clip fails breaking the mainline as i watch my new spreader bar sail away behind the tuna.
