September started off great with trips yielding good numbers of mahi not far from our inlet. On the few days when the mahi got slim the sea bass action was surprisingly good and the size, outstanding! Offshore action on White Marlin was very typical for September and the offshore mahi only got better and better as the month progressed. Things were shaping up to be memorable until the wind started on the 21st and didn’t stop until October.
