First trip after a couple days off due to wind. Headed east in way nicer conditions than the forecast was calling for. First bite happens five minutes into the day but pulls off after a couple seconds. The next 45 minutes is crazy stream of hit and misses and when things calm down we have three yellowfin in the box. The next few hour sees a couple big blow-ups but all miss the hook. Shortly before noon we get jumped by three nice gaffer mahi, first of the year for us. All three make it in the box. Rest of the day went by without adding anything else to the box.
