Two days of sea bass fishing in completely different conditions. Wednesday held stiff winds and big swells for a pair of anglers looking for their limit of sea bass. Unfortunately one of the two wasn’t quite up for the seas and decided to catch some sleep while the other did his best to fill their limit in very tough conditions. When the bell rang we only needed three more keepers to hit that mark. Thursdays conditions were much nicer, actually the nicest day of the season so far. The bite started off great but after a little more than an hour the fish started to get shy. With way too many more needed to fill the box I make a 2 mile move looking for anything willing to bite. Found a little nest of those oh so tasty fish and we proceed to hammer some very respectable size (especially for June) sea bass. Keepers were going in the cooler at a steady clip and shortly before 11 am we limit out.
