Headed to the deep in some fairly sporty seas with four guys from PA. At the 35 mile mark one og the younger guys isn’t feeling too great and the guys decide to trim the trip to 8 hours and look for the elusive bluefin. First two hours produce nothing even though the slicks look promising. Finally one of our bars get nailed and we put a small Bluefin in the box. With a little time let in the day I make a run to the area that’s been holding the jumbo bluefin and birds but after an hour of looking its apparent they’re gone.
