Back on the water after the longest stretch of bad wind I can every remember for July. The guys want to go even with the warning of very sporty conditions. The morning bite is pretty decent and by 9 am we have two bluefin in the box and a third that pulled off less than 10′ from the gaff. With stiff winds turning more to the west I point the boat toward OC and troll west until we hit shallow water and pick-up and run for the barn early.
