Made a big run south with a pair of anglers from PA in hopes of finding some tuna. As the second line is run up the rigger the first line take off and 5 minutes later we have our first yellowfin in the box. Headed east with the bozy from Hegins, PA looking to fill the box with some tasty tilefish. Morning bite was slow by tilefish standards but the fish turned on by late morning and by the day ended we had our limit, plus a couple, of a mixed bag of golden & blueline tiles and one small snowy grouper. Back in the slip with a happy crew especially the guy with the 18 lb. blueline.

Out with a pair of TX anglers for a day of tuna & tilefish action. After a nearly sixty mile run the baits hit the water. Ran north for a day of tilefish action with Nasir and his friends. The morning bite was steady but the line tangles were epic. The drift increased and the bite slowed during the late morning. First tuna trip of the season found me running 75 miles south with a crew of three from the Philly area. Out with a great group of guys looking for some sea bass and tilefish. First stop, which has been great over the past years, was terrible. Made a 16 mile move to a little wreck and immediately starting pounding some of the nicest sea bass you could ask for these days. Four guys from Coatesville, PA decide to give our tog fishing a go. The bite was outstanding and the average size was a little better than average with several fish pushing the 5 lb mark and three over 8. These guys hit their limit by 9:30 and after they added a couple extra to the box for the captains family they decided to head back and enjoy the rest of the day nosing around Ocean City.
