Started today with a group meeting and the decision was made for action instead of one or two (maybe) big bites. Ran to the hill where we’ve spend the last few days and immediately started filling the box. After two hours the decision is made to head out deeper looking for something big. Several hours later and no bait, birds or bites I spin the boat around and point toward the same general area where we spent the first couple hours of the day. Within two miles of the hill I notice the first bait I’ve seen since leaving the area. Two minutes later our flat line takes off and we put a nice mahi in the box. Ten minutes later we get another bite but that fish misses the hook. Five minutes later we get a small mahi on the bar and he goes in the box too. Worked the area hard but no other bites.
