Deep Sea Fishing for Tuna,
Marlin, MahiMahi, Wahoo, Shark, Cobia Flounder, Sea Bass, Tautog, Bluefish, Spadefish, Triggerfish and Much More
Just a few miles off the coast of Ocean City Maryland lies some of the best fishing on the east coast. The waters
off Ocean City are home to countless wrecks and reefs teeming with hungry Flounder, Sea Bass, Tog, Triggerfish and Spadefish.
It is common for an 8 hour charter to catch in excess of 200 fish and taking fish on a bare hook is a regular occurance!
Anyone can point a boat east, drop a line to the bottom and wait for the bite, but knowing where these wrecks and reefs are
located is the difference between fishing and catching. A little farther east, some 50 miles off Ocean City lies the pristine
blue waters known as the "canyons". Here the bottom drops from 300 feet to 3000 feet. This sudden drop
causes a condition known as up-welling. Up-welling occurs when the nutrient rich waters of the deep are forced upward toward
the surface. This condition combined with the warm water tempatures of the nearby gulf stream are a mecca for Tuna, Marlin,
Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, and more. If you want to experience the incredible pull of a Tuna, hook a spectacular leaping
Marlin, fill the fish box with beautiful Mahi-Mahi, catch dozens tasty Sea Bass, wrestling a 12 lb. Tautog
aka;( Tog or Bulldog) out of a wreck or catch a "doormat" Flounder, call or email now. The crew of the
"Fin Chaser" will do everything possible to make your day on the water a great success.
